Advocates Can Provide Input to Interim Studies
Between Legislative Sessions, the Lieutenant Governor and Speaker of the House appoint Interim Committees to compile information on key issues. Interim committees are usually appointed in the fall and hold hearings to obtain public input that affects the legislature's actions and outcomes during the next session. This interim period before the next legislative session begins is a good time to get to know your legislators and educate them on disability issues.
